I am currently a Ph.D. student in the School of Computing Science at Simon Fraser University, BC, Canada. I work in the Vision and Media Lab under the supervision of Dr. Greg Mori. I received a B.Eng. in Advanced Class for Gifted Students at Dept. of Electronics and Information Engineering, from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), China, in 2008. I received my M.Sc. in the School of Computing Science, from Simon Fraser University in 2010.
I spent my 2011 summer in Disney Research Pittsburgh as a research intern, where I worked with Dr. Leonid Sigal on automatic sports video analysis.
My research interests are in the areas of computer vision and machine learning. Recently, I'm working on developing algorithms for recognizing complex human activities / group activities from video.
