Enable commenting in Adobe Reader

When you set up an email-based review in Acrobat, the Adobe PDF document you select is enabled for commenting in Adobe Reader. Users of Adobe Reader can add comments and markups to the PDF document.

You can enable commenting in a PDF document without starting a review; however, doing so restricts other capabilities of the document in Acrobat, such as editing content and filling form fields.

To enable commenting in a PDF document:

Choose Comments > Enable For Commenting In Adobe Reader.

If a warning appears, click OK.

Save the PDF document.
