Wallace Lira is a PhD candidate at the School of Computing Science of Simon Fraser University, where he is a member of the graphics (GrUVi) lab. Wallace's current research area is computer graphics. He received the prestigious SFU CD Nelson Entrance Scholarship.
He obtained his MSc and BSc degrees from the Federal University of Pará. His research area used to be Software Process Improvement. During this time Wallace published 10 papers and co-authored one book.
After his MSc degree he was hired by Vale Institute of Technology (ITV) as an Assistant Researcher. In his new enviroment he changed his interest area towards Visualization and Usability
