I am a Ph.D. candidate at Simon Fraser university, English Department. My research areas are Psychoanalysis, Theories of Consciousness, Posthumanism, Art Theory.
My current research project centers on the problem of consciousness (Dennett, Nagel, Clark) and the relation among subjectivity, desire, and language (Lacan) in 20th-century literature. My interest in the impact of technology such as biology and AI also leads me to look at the intersection between art and science. Apart from my research, I also enjoy reading modernist literature, particularly works from Joyce, Woolf, Eliot, and Conrad.
