Anwen Rees, Research Assistant 

Anwen is a student in the Master of Resource Management (Planning) program at Simon Fraser University (SFU), interested in nature-based solutions, justice, water, and more-than-human thinking. She has experience in environmental education and a wide array of ecological and social research. After completing her B.Sc in Natural Resources Conservation (Global Perspectives) at the University of British Columbia in 2019, Anwen realized she wanted to work in local, community-based climate adaptation initiatives. Anwen is a recipient of the SFU Graduate Fellowship, CIP Thomas Adams scholarship SSHRC Canada Graduate Scholarship. She enjoys biking, reading, dancing, hula hooping, and spending as much time outside in her free time.
