Artifact # 5714 Described as an Anthropomorphic Figure -- Textile Fragment. It is believed to be from the Paraccas Culture (from the central Coast of Peru) and is dated at 300 BC.
Although this cute little guy is not exactly Inka; he sure is cute. That is why it has become the mascot for these pages. Is this a girl or a boy? It is a shaman, a chief, or a regular person? Why is this figure so happy?
