QUEENS' BATH

The Queens' Bath is a beautiful set of pools at the northeastern end of the site. The baths are located in the outskirts of the main acropolis of Palenque, along a path that passes by a series of buildings that once served as residences for the people of Palenque. It is said that this is where the royalty would come to swim, while the more common folk would use the smaller pools along the river.
