Biography

I am interested in the past diet and ecology of both humans and animals, and in the development of new approaches that make use of the stable isotope makeup of the individual amino acids in collagen to infer an organism’s interaction with its environment in the past. I am also interested in environmental changes over time and the human and animal adaptations to and influence on these changes.

MA Thesis

Mushroom and edible plant identification and cultivation. Fermenting foods and beverages. Cooking. Cultural resource management. Caving.
