Description, purpose and use of records

Series comprises documentation used in preparing the packages of background material which are sent to Senate members prior to each Senate meeting.

Records include correspondence, agendas, committee reports, and minutes of previous Senate meetings.

Prior to each Senate meeting a package of material relating to those matters to be discussed is sent to each Senate member, selected University officials and campus organizations. The papers support and provide background detail to the items noted in the Senate minutes.

The records are arranged chronologically by meeting date.
