Description, purpose and use of records

Records created by Human Resources in the course of notifying pension fund managers of the withdrawal of University employees from the pension plan and authorizing the transfer of benefits to other financial institutions.

Records include correspondence with pension fund administrators, copies of benefit payment authorizations, calculations of pension benefits, benefit payment forms.

Records relating to an authorization are stapled together and filed by pension plan and within these groupings chronologically by date of withdrawal.
