Description, purpose and use of records

Audio and audio-visual records relating to the harassment complaint resolution process.

Records include audio and audio-visual tapes and disks, or audio and audio-visual recordings stored on any other medium. This schedule covers both recordings made by Harassment Policy administrators in the course of the complaint resolution process (eg. hearings and interviews) or by any participant in the resolution process (including complainants, respondents, witnesses, representatives) and forwarded to an administrator of the Harassment Policy (eg. tape recordings of conversations forwarded to the Harassment Resolution Office).

Retention and filing guidelines

Audio and audio-visual material will be removed from the case files in which they are originally filed.
