GP47 Procedures Review
Bullying & Harassment Policy (GP 47) Procedures Review
You are invited to provide feedback on SFU’s Bullying & Harassment Policy’s (GP 47) Procedures. As it’s articulated in Policy (section 11.2) and Procedures (section 23.1), “the policy statement at section 1.1 of the procedures and the procedures as a whole, will be reviewed annually”. With the approval of SFU’s Bullying & Harassment Policy (GP 47) in May 2021, we are close to the 1-year anniversary of this Policy.
Proposed revisions have been captured in the GP47 Procedure Document. We invite you to provide your thoughts on the current revisions as well as your thoughts on further edits. An unedited copy of the Procedures can be found on SFU’s Policy Gazette for your reference.
The current edits include:
- Include mention of the Bullying and Harassment Central Hub when and where appropriate
- Provides more clarity around the Reporting process
- Provides more clarity in regards to the roles and responsibilities of Responsible Offices and support services
You can participate in this review process by filling out the survey by clicking the button below. The survey will be open until the end of day on Friday, April 29th 2022.
We recognize that bullying and harassment impacts us all in different ways. If so desired, you can reach out to relevant support services by visiting the Get Support section of the Bullying & Harassment Central Hub.
