CANADIAN CULTURAL EXPERIENCE PROGRAMS

Experience Canadian Culture in our hands-on learning environment with our Canadian Cultural Experience programs. SFU Camps offers three unique and exciting Canadian Cultural Experience Programs where you can learn and practice speaking and writing English. Or if you need more of a challenge, you can live like a university student and learn about topics such as the human body, the justice system, or business entrepreneurship. We also offer a camp that sharpens your athletic abilities! These programs include:

ENGLISH LANGUAGE EXPERIENCE

Looking for an authentic Canadian experience, eh? Immerse yourself in Canadian culture by signing up for our English Language Experience program. Our program is designed to bring Canadian culture to life through creative instructional and recreational activities in the classroom, as well as outside of the classroom. You will get the opportunity to experience British Columbia’s vast beauty that spans from sea to sky, while also being able to adapt the knowledge learned in our classroom.

UNIVERSITY EXPERIENCE

Perched atop Burnaby Mountain and screens a beautiful view of our North Shore mountains on one end, contrasted by a view of Downtown Vancouver on the other end, is our wonderful Simon Fraser University campus. We are Canada’s leading comprehensive university where innovative education, cutting-edge research, and community outreach intersect. Sign-up with our University Experience program to have a sampling of what student-life is like on the mountain, while being able to experience a university class simulation. We offer three diverse subjects: Law, Medicine, and Business.

VARSITY VOLLEYBALL EXPERIENCE

Experience a Varsity Volleyball camp and sharpen your skills alongside some of Simon Fraser University’s very own varsity athletes. This program is the ideal training experience for everyone from beginner to advanced skill levels. Regardless of skill level, our instructors will help you gain the knowledge you need to be successful in developing your volleyball skills.
