How it Works


1. Choose a theme and container (it doesn't have to be a basket!) and let us know what you've chosen. Call Susan Walter at 3750 to register your theme.
2. Display your basket in your area, along with this notice, and encourage participation - everyone can afford to contribute barely-used or garage sale items.
3. Attach a "tag" to your basket Susan Walter (3750) to obtain a tag and list the contents as they come in.
4. When you're ready, enclose the basket in clear cellophane and call Susan Walter (3750) to arrange pick up or delivery.

We'll display the baskets in the Burnaby and Harbour Center Bookstores window AND put some photos up on our website, so you'll know what the competition has done and which baskets you'd like to put your tickets toward. Tickets will go into individual draw boxes for each basket and the first ticket drawn wins it!

Dates to remember:
September 16 - Susan Walter should have your basket by noon today to be eligble for judging
September 19 - Basket Lotto 2002 draw at Terry Fox Day festivities.

Draw tickets cost $5 for 10 tickets (that's 10 chances to win the basket of your choice). Tickets are available in September at:

* Bookstore at the Burnaby campus
* Bookstore at Harbour Centre
* At campus Terry Fox Day festivities on September 19
