Biography

Dan Bilsker, PhD, is a psychologist who consults to the Centre  for  Applied  Research in Mental Health & Addiction. His academic appointments are Adjunct Professor, Faculty of Health Sciences, Simon Fraser University and Clinical Assistant Professor, Faculty of Medicine, University of British Columbia.  He leads a project to enhance mental health care by disseminating brief behavioural interventions for mood disorders in primary care and co-leads a project to identify best practices for protecting psychological health in workplaces. He has produced several depression self-management tools, including the Antidepressant Skills Workbook (2005), available in French, Chinese, Punjabi and Vietnamese translation.
