Hilary Kilgour

Hilary is an equal part connector, catalyst and integrator, committed to advancing the capacity of Canada's leaders on the global stage.

Her 15+ leadership experience spans Fortune’s 100 Fastest-Growing Companies, startups, and leading high growth, global brands in diverse sectors: SaaS tech, fintech, lifestyle and ecommerce. Hilary has led local and global investor programs - including Female Funders of Highline Beta (now Future Capital), Spring's National Investor Challenge, and co-founded TheVenture.Fund with focus on gender and impact. In the last year, she has advised and supported 100+ ventures in accessing capital - $25.2M capital raised, including 10 women entrepreneurs across Canada, USA and Australia.

A recognized leader, Hilary is a frequent keynote speaker and leadership
facilitator on the topics of innovation, scaling impact, leading cross-generational teams, systems change, diversity, equity and inclusion. She has served as a speaker and advisor for Virgin Atlantic, Google, Disney Interactive, lululemon, EDC, Startup America and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. 

Hilary has been recognized by Clean50, Corporate Knights and YWCA for her leadership in scaling impact. With an MBA in Sustainable Systems from Presidio Graduate School, she completed her BAH from Queen’s University where she was an All-Canadian athlete and played alongside New Zealand’s Women’s League champions while on exchange at the University of Otago. 

She lives in Vancouver, swims regularly and enjoys spending time in the forest hiking with her dog, Bo.
