Announcing the upcoming launch of SFU’s Centre for Educational Excellence

On July 15, 2019, Simon Fraser University will be launching the Centre for Educational Excellence (CEE).

The Centre aligns and builds off of the programming, initiatives, and expertise of SFU’s Teaching and Learning Centre, Centre for Online and Distance Education, and Centre for English Language Learning, Teaching, and Research to provide cutting-edge, integrated course and curriculum support, and innovative, technologically-enhanced teaching services.

The Centre is a key driver of SFU’s leadership in transformative educational programming and plays an integral role in our commitment to supporting the learners of today and tomorrow. It will increase collaboration and communication in SFU’s learning and teaching community and streamline services and supports for faculty members and students across our university’s campuses.

The Centre will also be a key partner in SFU’s Indigenization and internationalization efforts and will provide increased support for students who are learning English as an additional language.

As work continues on the Centre’s launch, we encourage you to continue connecting with your learning and teaching partners on current and prospective projects and service needs.

We look forward to embarking on this exciting next step in our commitment to educational excellence.
