The following model involves collaboration between disciplinary faculty, CELLTR education faculty, and educational consultants from the Teaching and Learning Centre (TLC)

Example of our work across the university

  • Beedie School of Business – BUS 217W Critical Thinking in Business; early writing assessment; developing program level communications expectations as a member of Beedie’s Communications Initiative Action Committee (CIAC)
  • School of Communication, MA program in Global Communication - collaborative inquiry into the language and literacy demands of courses, to support students from China in developing their disciplinary language and second language academic writing
  • World Literature program, WL 105W World Literature Lab - a writing-intensive course that combines translingual writing pedagogy with disciplinary content in world literature
