This custom workshop is a private offering of CELLTR’s “10 Tips of Giving Effective Feedback to EAL Student Writing” for an audience with foundational knowledge of EAL pedagogy and second language writing theories. Focus will therefore be on advancing understandings of the possibilities and pitfalls of teacher response to EAL student writing.

EAL professional development workshop for the Teaching and Learning Centre’s “Certificate Program in University Teaching and Learning” (CPUTL)

This custom workshop focuses on the themes of “inclusivity” and “accessibility” as they relate to student diversity in the post-secondary classroom. This workshop introduces participants to strategies drawn from EAL curriculum and pedagogy research about how to make language learning communities and language learning opportunities more accessible for EAL students in mainstream university classrooms.
