A message from Evon Khor, Undergraduate Advisor:
I have the pleasure of announcing that Nealan Gerrebos won the Fall 2019 Chemistry Undergraduate Research Presentation Award for his work presented on December 9th, 2019. The department will contribute $500 towards travel and conference expenses when he presents his research at a recognized conference.
Nealan presented his Chem 481 work titled "Self-Assembly of Sterically Encumbered Discotic Mesogens" under the supervision of Dr. Vance Williams, as well as his Chem 483 work titled “Organometallic Ruthenium Complexes Targeting Antibacterial Activity” under the supervision of Dr. Charles Walsby.
Excellent work to all of our presenters!
