August 31, 2015

A message from Evon Khor, Undergraduate Advisor:

I have the pleasure of announcing that Margarita Gladkikh and Carson Zellman have won the travel award for their respective presentations given on August 21, 2015.

The department will contribute towards travel and conference expenses ($500 each) when Margarita and Carson present their research at a recognized conference.

Margarita presented her Chem 483 work titled "Percolation Model of Fracture in Polymer Electrolyte Membranes" (supervisor: Dr. Eikerling) and Carson presented his NSERC USRA work titled "Analysis of Folded Dimers and their Liquid Crystalline Properties" (supervisor: Dr. Williams).

Excellent work to all of our presenters!
