Nastenka's Background

Her academic training and previous graduate studies include a Master of Sciences in Environmental Health Sciences, specialization in Environmental Quality, from the University of South Carolina (Columbia, USA), and a Master of Sciences in Environmental Engineering, from the University of New Orleans (New Orleans, USA). She obtained her bachelor degree in Geological Engineering from the Polytechnic School of Ecuador.

Her professional strengths and areas of knowledge are focused on air and water quality, environmental planning, environmental auditing, environmental impact assessment, GIS and environmental modeling, hydrology and waste management, and environmental management system implementation.

Her interests are in environmental education and community engagement on topics related to climate change and climate change mitigation and adaptations solutions.
