Laurie Wood is the Coordinator for the Centre for Coastal Science and Management at Simon Fraser University.  She has over twenty years of experience coordinating community engagement activities at SFU around issues pertaining to natural resource sustainability and conservation, and social justice. In her current role, Laurie strives to link science, community and policy to protect the marine environment and the people and livelihoods connected to these ecosystems.  She is responsible for financial administration, marketing, and management of all projects.
