Funding and Tuition

The tuition rate for international students in the graduate programs are the same as domestic students. The cost of tuition drops for master’s students after six semesters.

SFU School of Communication Financial Support

The School of Communication offers the funding for MA students in several forms:

  • Teaching Assistantships* (each $5200 – $6200 per semester)
  • Tutor Markerships* through the Department of Distance Education (each $5200 – $6200 per semester)
  • Research Assistantships (varies)
  • Graduate Fellowship* ($6250 per semester)
  • Private Scholarships
