How can we help?

We can help you amplify your Surrey campus news or events through the Surrey campus corporate channels.

Where do I submit my content?

Submit your social media and web requests to srycmty@sfu.ca. Digital screen bulletins can be created and scheduled using Carousel.

What content do we amplify?

  • Events that appeal to broad audiences.
  • SFU news and events at the Surrey campus. We promote third-party news and events if SFU is directly involved.
  • Information that is aligned to the purpose and audience of our channels.

Submission guidelines

Before you submit content for amplification on SFU's Surrey campus digital channels, familiarize yourself with the requirements for each channel:

Purpose

  • Engage with students who study at the Surrey campus
  • Build pride in SFU by sharing stories of engagement

  • 2-3 times a day

  • Keep it short: 40 to less than 100 characters (around two lines of text).

What does well?

  • Photos/videos
  • Stories about programs exclusive to Surrey campus (e.g. SIAT and mechatronics)
  • Articles about the impact and achievements of students and alumni community.
  • Students services, resources and opportunities (e.g. Puppy Therapy)

  • Our innovative programs, for example: Venture Connection

  • Stories related to students, alumni, and staff
