Applied Sciences – shaping tomorrow’s technology leaders in computing science and engineering. Research areas include biomedical engineering, sustainable energy, mechatronics, natural language processing, network systems, computer imaging and medical computing.

Arts and Social Sciences – developing engaged citizens primed to be involved in, and to shape, their communities. Home to a range of highly ranked programs across 16 departments and schools, as well as a language institute.

Beedie School of Business – championing collaboration between faculty, researchers and business and community partners. Accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and recognized with an EQUIS Quality award from the European Federation for Management Development (EFMD).

Communication, Art and Technology – schools and programs advancing the practice and scholarly study of the intersection of culture and technology, precisely where some of the most important and exciting developments are to be found.

Environment – one of only a handful of interdisciplinary environmental faculties in Canada – and the only one in Western Canada focused on sustainability and sustainable development.

Health Sciences – one of Canada’s most comprehensive and integrated health sciences programs. Researchers and students from a broad spectrum of disciplines work together to study health and disease.

Science – eight departments investigating the wonders of the natural world, from infinitesimal subatomic particles to the infinite universe – and everything in between.
