The Co-operative Education Program offers you the chance to get a taste of working in your chosen career while you are still studying.

The program provides you with the support and resources necessary to complete three or more Co-op work semesters, allowing you to learn valuable skills that can be transferred from the workplace to the classroom. Employers who will need your knowledge and international experience could include a local high-tech company in Hangzhou, a multinational company in Shanghai, or a variety of business, industry and government organizations – in Canada and around the world.

As well as providing invaluable practical experience, you will make contacts in the real world, greatly increasing your chances of finding work in your desired field. In fact, Over 85% of our students find employment with one of their co-op employers within 6 months of graduation if they have completed 3 co-op work terms. You will also be earning money along the way to help support your studies.

Employers that have hired Dual Degree Program participants as Co-op students include Google, Microsoft, IBM, RIM, EA, HSBC, Telus and SAP. For a detailed Co-op employer list, please click here.
