Social Behaviour Colloquium

SBC's Mission

The study of social behavior is a broad topic of enquiry pursued by a wide array of disciplines including psychology, education, philosophy, sociology, anthropology, linguistics, business, and health related disciplines.

However, there are currently very few platforms by which researchers with similar scholarly interests from different faculties can interact, network and disseminate research findings to a broader SFU audience.

The mission of the Social Behaviour Colloquium is to unite an interdisciplinary group of scholars interested in the study of social cognition, social interaction, social competence and social behavior.

We aim to expand the viewpoint from which researchers approach questions in these areas, and to form collaborations between different research groups at SFU and neighboring universities.
