NEW & RETURNING JOB SEEKERS: ANNUAL SEEKING PREPARATION CANVAS COURSE

Current SIAT Co-op students are invited to register to the Annual Seeking Preparation Canvas course for each year they want to work in. Upon registering to an annual seeking preparation course, you will receive an invitation to access the respective seeking course.

After you submit assignments through the seeking preparation Canvas course, an Advisor/Coordinator from the SIAT Co-op team will assess your readiness to seek for a co-op job. They will evaluate your submissions and either mark them complete or provide feedback on steps to take on your final revision. You will be “released to seek” once you complete the course, and you will be able to view and apply for co-op jobs posted in myExperience as well as external sources.

Register now to prepare to seek for a co-op job in Spring, Summer and/or Fall of the respective year. The seeking term for each co-op work term occurs in the semester preceding the co-op term. You are expected to complete this course two to four weeks prior to the start of the seeking term to ensure there is enough time for feedback and revisions.
