How to Request the Services

The followings are suggested to make a successful request:

  • A notice of a minimum of 10 business days must be provided for an event to be considered
  • Make sure your event is for internal SFU employee and partner viewing
  • Your venue has access to power and hardwired Internet

All requests are managed by MECS in collaboration with IT Services. In the event of a late booking, a fee will be charged to the client of $100. In the case of the service being overbooked, an alternative solution of an external vendor will be arranged by IT Services.

Internal events refer to events to be viewed primarily by SFU faculty, staff, or students, or SFU partners (e.g. APSA or CUPE Local 3338). For webcasting and/or recording for external audiences, please contact SFU Creative Studios.
