SFU holds two-day dive into state of French language in B.C.

A two-day symposium examining the state of French language and learning in B.C. was recently held as part of the 15th anniversary of SFU’s Office of Francophone and Francophile Affairs.
The Symposium on the Francophonie in British Columbia took place October 4 and 5 at Simon Fraser University’s Burnaby campus. The event featured 13 speakers, including experts on the Francophonie in B.C., professors from eight Canadian universities, on the evolution of French-language research on the province.
