Mark Stewart

Mark Stewart is an educator and elementary school teacher in Vancouver. Aside from education he is interested in esotericism and the occult, deep and depth ecology, psychedelics and society, entheogenic religion, shamanism and neoshamanism, Buddhist ethics, tantra, and the history of religions.

He has been inspired by the works of scholars of religion and esotericism such as Mircea Eliade, Jeffrey J. Kripal, Erik Davis, Christopher Partridge, Alan Watts, Gary Lachman, Erazim Kohák and Wouter Hanegraaff.  

He has completed the following programs at SFU: BA with honours in humanities, BA in philosophy, BEd elementary generalist, English minor, Certificate of religious studies and a Certificate of Liberal Arts.
