Journeys of a Lifetime (55+)

Discover the natural beauty of our planet, along with its wealth of human history and culture. These “journeys of a lifetime” will take us to awe- inspiring locations on every continent, covering, for example, the unique fauna of Madagascar, cruises on the River Nile, the magnificent temples of Angkor and the celebration of Easter in Guatemala.

Our journeys, which will be organized by theme, will each showcase breathtaking photography along with background information and expert advice such as how and when to visit, and how to make the most of a trip, including tips on local food and shopping. This playful, informative mix of inspiring personal narratives and intriguing facts will appeal whether you are an active traveller or you simply dream of visiting far-flung destinations.

How will I be evaluated?

For certificate students only:

Your instructor will evaluate you based on an essay, which you will complete at the end of the course. You will receive a grade of “satisfactory” or “unsatisfactory.”
