Writing Fundamentals for Liberal Arts Non-Credit Certificate (55+)

This free workshop is for students enrolled in courses in the Adults 55+ Program who are pursuing (or thinking of pursuing) our liberal arts certificate.

The workshop is designed to help you learn techniques for writing an essay as a thoughtful personal response to materials covered in one of our courses.

You'll also be able to use the enhanced writing and organizational skills you gain from this workshop in your personal and professional development.

Your Instructor

David Tracey is a journalist, writing instructor and environmental designer. A frequent speaker on environmental topics, he is the head of EcoUrbanist and the Executive Director of Tree City Canada, a non-profit ecological engagement group. His most recent book is The Earth Manifesto: Saving Nature with Engaged Ecology (2013).

He has recently taught Beyond the Block: How to Beat a Fear of Writing for the Liberal Arts Program.
