DISRUPTION AHEAD: Transforming Technology for Aging and Healthcare

We're all facing issues of reduced mobility, hearing, vision and cognition. Our current healthcare system will not be able to cope with the staggering number of older adults who need care. One response to this problem has been technology that can provide support to older adults for common everyday tasks. However, the promise of technology is not the “silver bullet” for several reasons. What can be done to deliver the technologies that are necessary?
