12 More Affordable Housing Ideas

Wed, 06 Apr 2016 7:00 PM

In April 2015, Michael Geller presented a lecture on 12 Affordable Housing Ideas for Vancouver. These ideas included new building types like zero-lot line houses, fee-simple row houses and stacked townhouses, as well as alternative financing options such as shared equity and life-lease ownership.

Sadly, Vancouver's housing affordability challenges continue, and this year Michael is back to present 12 more ideas. They include how to make better use of existing social housing projects; back-lane and rooftop apartments; and mixed residential-industrial development. Please join us for what should be a most informative and entertaining evening.
