  • Farnaz Badiee

An SFU graduate, Farnaz is a lifelong learner and a scholar. She has a multidisciplinary background with interests in learning design, computer science, arts, and business administration. She also has many years of experience teaching in various STEAM fields and designing online and in-person educational programs.

Farnaz believes that Philosophers’ Café provides opportunities for everyone to step outside of their individual thoughts and explore world questions through the lens of different perspectives and different life experiences.

Farnaz finds that the most enjoyable aspect of moderating Philosophers’ Café is seeing the world beyond linear and disciplinary boundaries, and thinking flexibly and creatively about universal problems that may not have immediate solutions.
