Amanda Bidnall, PhD, received her doctorate in history from Boston University in 2010. She did her MA at York University in Toronto and her BA at Dalhousie. She has published in Twentieth Century British History and contributed to the Encyclopedia of Blacks in European History and Culture (2008).
She has taught courses on modern and early modern Europe, the Atlantic world, the British Isles, Victorian Britain, Britain in the 20th century, the British Empire and British and European popular culture.
