Emily Davidson

Emily Davidson is a word enthusiast. A writer of poetry and fiction, her work has appeared in literary magazines including Arc, carte blanche, CV2, Descant, The Fiddlehead, Grain, Poetry is Dead, Room and subTerrain. Her debut poetry collection, Lift, was published in 2019. As a mentor, Emily enjoys coming alongside writers at all stages of their creative journeys to discuss and enhance their work. She is known for her supportive teaching style, attention to detail, and love of the unexpected connection.

Originally from New Brunswick, Emily holds a BA in English from the University of New Brunswick Saint John and an MFA in creative writing from the University of British Columbia. She works as an editor for a leading Vancouver content marketing agency.
