Heidi Bachert-Burke

Heidi Bachert-Burke brings 25 years of corporate HR & labour relations experience to her role as an instructor—for most of those years, she held senior roles at CBC in news, current affairs and multimedia platforms.

She has been teaching all CPHR core competency human resources courses, organizational behaviour and business management courses for five years.

Heidi applies an interdisciplinary approach to the various course she teaches. In addition, she  provides practical and relevant insights on what it is like to manage the full spectrum of HR, labour relations and administrative activities in domestic and international workplaces, whether they be unionized or non-unionized.

Heidi holds an MA in political science and a BA with honours in international relations and sociology.
