Michael Bourne is a writer, teacher and literary critic based in Vancouver. He is a regular book reviewer for The Globe and Mail, a contributing editor for Poets & Writers Magazine and a staff writer for the literary website The Millions. He also writes for Salon, The National Post, The New York Times and The Economist. In addition to teaching at Simon Fraser University, he teaches at the University of British Columbia and at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
