Reporter Stuart Derdeyn brings 30 years of experience to covering the arts and entertainment beat for the Vancouver Sun, the Province and Postmedia.
With a specialization in Hollywood North, major cultural events and the music scene, he has lectured on best practices for pitching ideas to media at Simon Fraser University and Capilano University and conducted training sessions at various organizations and businesses.
Stuart holds a bachelor’s degree in English and political science from the University of British Columbia, and diplomas in cross-cultural communication and marketing.
