Ann-Marie Metten is a certified professional editor with a lifetime of experience editing books and magazines. In 2008, she was the first of a handful of editors to successfully complete all four certification tests and achieve the designation of CPE through the Editors Association of Canada.
In 2011, she earned a master of publishing from Simon Fraser University. Between 2011 and August 2017, she worked in-house for the literary publisher Talonbooks, editing drama, novels and non-fiction, including the manuscripts of Indigenous writers such as Tomson Highway, Bev Sellars and Drew Hayden Taylor. She has provided editorial services to the book and magazine trade since 1982.
