Brent Toderian

Brent Toderian is a nationally and internationally respected practitioner and leader with over 21 years of experience in advanced urbanism, city planning and urban design.

He established TODERIAN UrbanWORKS in 2012 after six years as Vancouver's chief planner. His accomplishments include the 2010 Olympics-related planning and design; the EcoDensity and Greenest City Initiatives; new waterfront and skyline-shaping strategies; new visions for the city’s viaducts, multi-modal mobility and active transportation; place-making, public-place design and street-activation strategies; and next-generation, transit-oriented development initiatives.

Brent has been an advisor and collaborator with many global cities including Copenhagen, Oslo, Helsinki, Rotterdam, Sydney, Medellin, Ottawa and New York.
