Mary Lynn Stewart
Mary Lynn Stewart, PhD, taught at Simon Fraser University from 1977 to 2012 in the Department of History and the Department of Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies. She is a leading scholar of French women’s history.
The author of five books on French history, notably Dressing Modern Frenchwomen, Marketing Haute Couture, 1919-1939, and five articles on French textiles and Art Deco fashion, she has taught courses on fashion and Parisian women at SFU.
