Seniors Program to offer food course

This fall, SFU Seniors Program students will be able to study something they never have before: Asian food—and by extension, Asian culture.

Students in History and Geography of Asian Cuisine will explore how geography, culture, and religion have shaped Asian cuisine over time, and how Asia’s food culture has influenced diets around the world.

Ian Lai, the instructor for the six-week course, is a consultant and chef instructor at the Northwest Culinary Academy of Vancouver.
