Part-time, in class and online Occupational Health and Safety Certificate

The program can be completed in as little as two years. You have up to five years to finish the program.**

Tuition is based on the total cost of individual course fees, which range from $530 to $795.
The Canadian Society of Safety Engineering (CSSE) offers a bursary of up to $500 to students who meet certain eligibility requirements and are enrolled in a qualified OHSE program. Students are encouraged to learn more and apply on the CSSE website.

Coursework: What to expect
Coursework reflects and builds upon the real-world experience that everyone brings to the program. Prepare to spend six to eight hours on homework each week.
English language requirements
To meet the demands of your coursework, you should have an advanced level of spoken and written English.
Evaluation and graduation requirements
Evaluation methods vary, but you will receive a final letter grade (A to F) or (P/F) at the end of each course.
To receive the Occupational Health and Safety Certificate, complete and pass all six of the core courses and at least 78 hours of electives. The passing grade for all OHS courses is C. In addition, you must attend at least 75 per cent of scheduled classes within the OHS courses. When you have successfully completed all your courses, submit a graduation request form.
