Part-time, in class The Writer’s Studio

Reading series

Find out why writers should read their work for others. Watch the video

SFU's Creative Writing Community hosts monthly readings in Vancouver that allow local writers to share their work with the public.

Who reads? Current members and alumni of The Writer's Studio, The Southbank Writer's Program, local emerging writers and authors, and authors on book tours.

Do the readings have a specific focus? Many are mixed genre, some are thematic, and some feature a guest author.

Where are the readings? See below for the locations of our Vancouver readings.

When is the next reading? The Writer's Studio's Reading Series takes place on the first Thursday of each month.

For guidelines for a successful reading, download Guidelines for Readers at the TWS Reading Series.
