Faculty Celebration

Congratulations to all the graduands of fall 2020 from the Faculty of Applied Sciences! Formally obtaining a university degree is a significant milestone. It reflects the long hours and dedication the graduands put into their academic journey. Our faculty and staff would like to take this time to celebrate this achievement with all the graduands.

Virtual Convocation Ceremony

Gather with your family, friends and members of the university community to celebrate your accomplishments at your virtual convocation ceremony. Fall 2020 Virtual Convocation will be comprised of four virtual ceremonies hosted by Chancellor Tamara Vrooman and President Joy Johnson. Each ceremony will include:

  • Messages of inspiration and encouragement from representatives of the graduating class;
  • SFU’s distinguished honorary degree recipients and the President of the Alumni Association; and
  • Individual graduate recognition and messages

You’ll be invited to celebrate your accomplishments at an in-person ceremony at a later date.
