Join us as we celebrate all of the students graduating from Chemistry programs this term! We will share the names of our graduating students, a speech from a member of the graduating class, and messages from our Chemistry staff and faculty, including personalized messages from the faculty supervisors of all of our MSc and PhD graduates. All graduating students are welcome to attend, as well as friends, family, Chemistry staff and faculty!

When you register, you’ll be entered into the door prize draw for a chance to win gift cards! As Zoom has a maximum capacity of 300 attendees, an SFU webcast is available for live streaming too.

Virtual Convocation Ceremony

Gather with your family, friends and members of the university community to celebrate your accomplishments at your virtual convocation ceremony. Fall 2020 Virtual Convocation will be comprised of four virtual ceremonies hosted by Chancellor Tamara Vrooman and President Joy Johnson. Each ceremony will include:

  • Messages of inspiration and encouragement from representatives of the graduating class;
  • SFU’s distinguished honorary degree recipients and the President of the Alumni Association; and
  • Individual graduate recognition and messages

You’ll be invited to celebrate your accomplishments at an in-person ceremony at a later date.
